How It All Began

Every beautiful love story has a beginning, and ours started on April 20th, 2022, at Omobolade's niece's dedication — Oluwafadelanaolafunmi. What began as a simple introduction soon blossomed into a friendship, and before long, it became something truly special. Neither of us knew at the time that a single encounter would mark the beginning of a journey that would change our lives forever.

Building Something Real

Over the weeks and months that followed, we got to know each other more deeply — our strengths, weaknesses, passions, dreams, and hobbies. Through countless conversations, shared laughter, heartfelt prayers, and memorable moments, our bond grew stronger with each passing day. By January 2023, Omobolade made his intentions known, and Esiro was excited to embark on the journey together. What started as friendship gradually evolved into something real, meaningful, and beautiful — a relationship built on love, trust, faith, and genuine companionship.

May 2024 · Out of Sight, Never Out of Mind

Love Across the Miles

In May 2024, Esiro relocated abroad — undoubtedly one of the most challenging seasons of our relationship. Suddenly we found ourselves navigating a 7–8 hour time difference, countless uncertainties, and the realities of long-distance love. Yet distance never diminished what we shared. Through unwavering communication, persistent prayers, love, and determination, we continued to grow together. What could have pulled us apart only made us stronger, proving that true love is measured not by distance, but by commitment.

November 7, 2025 · The Proposal 💍

She Said YES!

Then came November 7th, 2025 — Esiro's birthday. What was supposed to be a simple online birthday celebration filled with prayers and well wishes quickly turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. With the help of close friends and family (special shout-out to Aunty Blessing and Bukola), Omobolade had carefully planned a surprise that Esiro never saw coming. Amidst laughter, joy, and overwhelming emotions, Omobolade popped the question. It was a beautiful moment filled with love, excitement, and happy tears — the moment our forever officially began. And of course… SHE SAID YES! 💍

Our Introduction

On January 31st, 2026, our families met for the very first time. It was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, warmth, and heartfelt conversations. Our families came together, united by love and a shared vision for our future. Blessings were spoken, bonds were formed, and what had begun as a friendship years earlier took another significant step toward forever. As beautiful as this journey has already been, we know the best chapters are still ahead. This is just the beginning!
